Welcome

Hey. Frankie here. This is my new and improved site where you can hear great music and learn some stuff about the guy that created it. Join the mailing list, sign the guestbook, download some songs, and check in from time to time for updates. Can't read good? All you have to do is listen. I don't judge. That's the kind or respect you can expect at Frankiecleary.com.

Reviews

Today I added 3 new reviews to my website. They are all positive and have reassured me that things are still moving in the right direction, regardless of how slowly. Check them out on the links page.

2008

Happy New Year's everyone! 2008 is the year of freedom, where I will eventually escape the death grip of the Navy.

A long hiatus for the Holidays
Posted 12/27/2007

Happy Holidays to everyone! I've been taking lots of time to enjoy time with my friends and family, and have done my best to avoid work as much as possible. I spent an amazing weekend snowboarding at Mt Baker and now I'm looking forward to celebrating my last New Years Eve in the Navy. I took a slight break from guitar but recently have started playing seriously again so I can start gigging after the Holidays. I'll let you know when and where I might be putting on a show.

Reviews and San Diego
Posted 11/29/2007

So I just got off the phone with Mike the publicist and things are looking good. Within the next week and a half I will have 6 new reviews of The Six Year Getaway. Apparently they are all very postive and I'm excited to see what they say. All this will help build a strong press kit for bigger reviews and more radio play. On another note, I have a 20 hour drive down to San Diego between Friday and Saturday where hopefully I'll be surfing one day and snowboarding the next. I also need to send my computer in for some work so the postings may become sparse, but I'll make them up when I get back.

Expose Your Muse Compilation
Posted 11/26/2007

Good news! I got word today that "The Being Of Me" has been selected to be on a compilation CD that will be distributed in France at that Midem Music Conference. It's kind of a big deal... but really, it'll be good exposure. For more info check out http://www.midem.com

So... Tired...
Posted 11/24/2007

After a week of sleeping only between the hours of 4am and 8am, I have returned to Washington where it always seems to be raining. I'm going to sleep for 24 hours straight... unless someone calls me to go out.

T-Day
Posted 11/22/2007

Today is a good day to say how thankful I am for fans, friends, and of course, family. I had the pleasure of enjoying two Thanksgiving dinners this week. The one with my dad's side will have cousin's, aunt's, and uncle's flying in from all over the county, and some from overseas. We all sat at the World Travlers table.

Victory!!!

O! H! you fill in the rest.

Headed Home
Posted 11/16/2007

I'm taking the red eye tonight and will be arriving in my hometown of Columbus, OH 20 minutes before the big game. What big game?!? The one where Ohio State beats Michigan on their home field.

New Songs
Posted 11/13/2007

I've been increasing my song repertoire at a steady rate in both covers and originals. You probably have a good idea of what kind of music I'm into, so if you know of a song large or small that you would like me to add to my collection, please email me or leave a note on my guestbook page. I'll keep you posted on the next time I can play it at a show.

Compilation CD's
Posted 11/12/2007

Within the last month I've been submitting my music to several projects and contests. As of yet I've been selected for compilation's produced by Indie360, Digital Hype Magazine, and hopefully project Emancipation. I'll provide more information and links as soon as I can.

Veteran's Day
Posted 11/11/2007

Although I'm in the military, I hardly feel like a Veteran. I've put up with the heat and sand of the North Arbian Gulf. I've gone years without seeing my family. Supposedly I've lived in the threat of biological and chemical attack. But I watched We Were Soliders yesterday and it makes what I've done feel like a desk job. Thanks to all those who serve to keep our familes safe and free.

The Publicist
Posted 11/9/2007

I just wanted to introduce the man that's going to start helping make things happen for me and my music, Michael Sutton. He's worked with many other artists and even helped some of them get singed to big deals. Our plan is to start small, gather a few reviews and some online radio play. Then once we put together a solid press package we'll step it up to local radio stations and start landing some gigs in the Seattle area.
